The Montana Wonder Theater offers two entirely different shows.

The "Illusion Show" and the "King and Presto Show."

SHOW #1.  THE ILLUSION SHOW

Beginning Friday, June 20, the Illusion Show will be presented on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings throughout the Summer of 2008.  Regular show time is 8:00 PM.

The show is a fast paced, "can't believe your eyes" presentation of fantastic tricks and illusions.  The performance spans ninety minutes with a brief intermission.

The stars of the show are Duane and Mary Laflin who have top of the line credentials in the world of illusionists.  Duane is an author of books on magic tricks, an inventor of props and routines used by many other magicians, and respected by other magicians as a teacher of this unique performing art.  One of the founders of the International Brotherhood of Magicians wrote that "Duane is one of the best showmen in magic."  The Society of American Magicians featured Mary on a top ten list of magician's assistants.  She is a skillful performer and comedy character.

The cast of the show also includes young magician Kevin Puckett from Portland, Oregon, and two young ladies, Kristen Kampfe and Hanna Folkerts, who make a variety of magical appearances and disappearances during the program.

The Laflins are committed to a clean and family friendly performance style.  The show is slick, high energy, and fun for all age groups.

Note:  Because of several out of state bookings, there will be a few weeks during the summer when shows may be cancelled or times adjusted.  Call for specific information about dates and times.

Ticket prices:  Adults $15.00 - Children $6.00 - Lap Child... No Charge

SHOW #1.  THE KING AND PRESTO SHOW

"Teddy Bear", "All Shook Up", "Hound Dog", "Wonder Of You", "Now or Never", "Love Me Tender", and so much more!

The  "King and Presto" musical magical production will begin Tuesday, June 10, and be presented on following Tuesday evenings through the summer of 2008.

It is much more than an Elvis tribute show.  It is a musical magical entertainment experience.  The "King" does not just walk on stage... he appears!  While the songs of Elvis are performed (music sung live!), strange things happen on stage such as teddy bears coming out of boxes that seem empty and neck scarves appearing out of nowhere.  There are beautiful costumes, comedy happenings, and surprises for the audience.  It happens on a great stage with special lighting effects and good production value.

Duane Laflin does the "King" (Elvis personality).  He is not an Elvis impersonator, but he does create a fun and impressive reminder of the style and music that made Elvis famous.  The quality of the vocals is pleasing.  The jumpsuits are amazing!

Mary Laflin brings a large dose of "magically delightful funny business" to the show.  The "King" gives neck scarves to the ladies... she gives some to the men.  When he sings "All Shook Up," her head spins in circles.  Her tricks, antics, and beautiful smile are a constant source of fun for the audience.

The show is 75 minutes of family friendly music, magic, humor, and inspiration (15 minute intermission).  Show time is 8:00 PM Tuesday nights.

     Ticket prices:  Adults $15.00 - Children $6.00
