Libby, Montana is in the
northwest corner of the state of Montana. It is about 100 miles
west of Glacier National Park. Coming from either direction you
will follow Highway 2 into town.
The closest major airports are
in Kalispell, Montana (less than 2 hours
away) or Spokane, Washington (about 3 hours away).
In about the center of Libby,
Highway 37 heads north across the Kootenai River toward Eureka. If
you are coming on Hwy. 2 from the west (Troy/Sandpoint/Spokane), go one
block past the Hwy. 37 intersection. At the next stoplight you
will find Mineral Avenue. Turn left (North) on Mineral. Go
down 4 or 5 blocks and you will see the Montana Wonder Theater on the
left (Across from the Libby Cafe). Park on the street and come on
in!
If you are coming on Hwy. 2 from
the East (Kalispell/Whitefish), go clear into the heart of Libby.
Shortly after you pass McDonalds and one block before the Hwy. 37
intersection you will find a stoplight at Mineral Avenue. Turn
right (North). Go down 4 or 5 blocks and you will see the Montana
Wonder Theater on the left (Across from the Libby Cafe). Park on
the street and come on in!

Libby is in a beautiful region
featuring Lake Koocanusa, the Libby Dam, waterfalls, streams, hiking
trails, a Museum, the Ross Creek Cedars, and many more natural
attractions. There are good motels in town and both fast food and
"sit down" restaurants. If you are coming from out of state, this
is a great point of destination.
